Our city is a grid, but even in this age of GPS and SmartPhones, plotting ourselves onto it is still a struggle. We're creatures of habit - the same bars and restaurants, shops and events. And despite the upsurge of local blogs and social media applications, we still remain largely unaware of what's going on in our own city.
If you've ever uttered the phrase "There's nothing to do," then you are one of millions buzzing around Toronto with their blinders on. What if there were a site that turned Toronto into a virtual mosaic, searchable by neighbourhoods and then again by interest?

CityOn-line is an advanced mobile app that doesn't require any downloads. It detects which smartphone your are using and runs flawlessly on the iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Palm, Windows Mobile, Nokia as well any tablet device such as iPad and Galaxy. It's really simple and even if you want bigger and brighter, use your Laptop - It's all there !

CityOn-line will soon have your town mapped including the major city areas and hot locations. Attractive overlays will be included all sorts of categories for dining, clubs, events and the like. ... Stay tuned..we're just getting started !

CityOn-line's interactive event system allows our customers to post, edit and delete their events, upload/download files and edit their locations. Just to make it simple, Google maps are automatically generated by the system. Also, its real simple to include a photo carousel, video and event extras such as .pdf's that your audience can download anytime. A front-end feature allows visitors to subscribe to events. Our Host Menu can be displayed and will allow you to Edit an event, invite people, send messages to guests, list subscribers, send reminders and cancel events. When you're done, your events will be automatically available on both mobile and Laptop devices.
You'll notice that we're adding other neighbourhood profiles, events and search capabilities for other communities just outside Toronto. If you're looking for a great escape then you'll find it here.
